Noir City: Chicago 2023

NOIR CITY: Chicago returns to the Music Box to celebrate the heart of Hollywood’s noir movement with “Film Noir in 1948”!

Icons of the genre will be back on the big screen where they belong, including Humphrey Bogart & Lauren Bacall in KEY LARGO, Rita Hayworth & Orson Welles in THE LADY FROM SHANGHAI, Burt Lancaster in I WALK ALONE, Charles Laughton in THE BIG CLOCK, Robert Mitchum in BLOOD ON THE MOON, John Garfield in FORCE OF EVIL, and many more!

All screenings from August 25th-27th will be presented by “The Czar Of Noir” Eddie Muller, Film Noir Foundation founder and host of TCM's Noir Alley. Then from August 28th-31st, screenings will be hosted by FNF board member Alan K. Rode, author of Michael Curtiz: A Life in Film. Select films will screen on 35MM film prints!
